We are passionate about our menus, where our food comes from, and, most importantly, our people and the hospitality we show to our clients, vendors, and each other. Our rapid growth has led us to seek qualified individuals who will have a positive impact on our team and help shape the future of Savory.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, driven Warehouse Packaging Manager to lead our Ready-to-Eat (RTE) packaging operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production on the floor, ensuring that all products are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently before distribution. The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organized, and knows how to motivate teams while maintaining high standards for food safety and quality. You’ll play a key role in managing people, processes, and product flow at the final stage of our operation.

Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day packaging production to ensure all orders are completed on time
 • Assign labor across packaging lines based on volume and priorities
 • Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes to keep operations running smoothly
 • Troubleshoot issues and remove bottlenecks in real time
 • Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP, GMPs, and FDA/USDA guidelines
 • Ensure all products meet quality standards for packaging, labeling, and accuracy
 • Oversee final checks, including weights, seals, and product labeling
 • Maintain cold chain integrity throughout packaging and storage

What We’re Looking For
At Savory, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’re a tight-knit team of passionate, innovative culinarians who strive to live our values every day: authenticity, curiosity, collaboration, solutions, and community.

Your experience should demonstrate:
• Experience in high-volume catering, restaurant, hospitality, warehouse, or production environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with BEOs is a plus (willing to train the right candidate)
• Strong leadership experience in warehouse, production, or food operations
• Ability to stay organized and make decisions under pressure
• Clear communication and team management skills
• Reliability and consistent on-site presence

Job Requirements:
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50–70 pounds
 • Comfortable using Excel and basic reporting tools
 • Experience with inventory systems and warehouse workflows preferred
 • Ability to stand for extended periods in varying temperature conditions
 • Flexible availability, including early mornings and day shifts
 • 2+ years of experience in food production, warehouse, or logistics operations
 • Experience with RTE, fresh food, or perishable goods strongly preferred

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and transit benefits
  • Cell phone reimbursement
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 4/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
